Our Mission Statement:

The mission of the Lake Lure Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in the Town of Lake Lure by working cooperatively with the public and within the framework of the United States Constitution to enforce the laws, preserve the peace and provide for a safe environment for our community.  

The Lake Lure Police Department is devoted to providing professional and quality police services while striving to remain effective, efficient, and responsive to the changing needs of our community while providing a safe environment that enhances the quality of life in Lake Lure.  

Our officers hold various degrees, certifications, military experience and other forms of special training that brings a skill set as diverse as the dedicated team that protects our community.  

The department is a full service law enforcement division for the Town of Lake Lure, its community and the visitors to the area.

Information for Obtaining Records

The Police Department patrols over 14 square miles with approximately 100 miles of roadway. The department is also responsible for patrolling Lake Lure and its shoreline.
