Utility Advisory Board

The Utility Advisory Board studies and makes recommendations to council concerning the water and sewer utility enterprise including revisions to utility policies, regulation of utility rates, utility-related capital projects, garbage and recycling collection and other utility matters as requested by the Town Council.

Town Council created the board to assist in focusing on water, sewer and town infrastructure issues.

The board is made up of knowledgeable volunteers from across the  community.

While this board will tackle several issues, the initial task will be to manage the shift away from the current system for wastewater treatment to building a pipeline to Spindale's newer treatment plant. This project is known as the Greenline Regional Sewer Interconnect.
