9/5/23 Lake Level Update

The Town began lowering the lake incrementally on 9/3/23 to make repairs to a sewer line as lake water was entering the system. On 9/5/23, the lake is at 988.23 mean sea level (MSL), about 1 & ½ feet below the normal operational level.  The Lake will be lowered to approximately 987 MSL so crews can continue making repairs.  Progress is being made and the work is estimated to take approximately one week.

Note that lines may break on boats if they are not adjusted. Boats may be damaged if they are not repositioned. If you are out of Town, plans to visit may need to be considered.
