Lake Use Regulations
The 2024 Lake Use Regulations were finalized 12/12/23 and take effect 1/1/24.
An accompanying Boater Safety Video has also been developed.
The Lake Lure Boater Safety Course has been developed to enhance boater safety on Lake Lure. The course is based on the Lake Use Regulations. You may view the Boater Safety Course here. This course is the foundational resource for a new Boater Safety Test that has also been developed to help promote safety on Lake Lure. Passing the Boater Safety test is a requirement for obtaining a Lake Lure Motorized Boat Permit.
