9/8/23 Lake Level Update - Lake Lure is on the Rise!

The Town of Lake Lure, NC has completed the repair to the line break and lake levels are rising! Special thanks to local contractors and Town staff for working diligently starting on Sunday, through Labor Day, and throughout the week to complete this repair so quickly.

The current lake level is 987.61. This is 1.89 feet below the lower end of the Town's normal operational level and 2.89 feet below full pond. Rain is expected later today so this will help with the goal of returning to full pond as quickly as possible. Restoring lake levels depends on the weather and the amount of rain received.
