Boil Advisory - Portions of Boys Camp Road - Beginning Monday, 8/17/26. 
 
The Town of Lake Lure, NC is pleased to advise that the water is back on in the Boys Camp Road area. As previously noted, there is a Boil Water Advisory for the impacted properties until further notice. 

Affected Area: Properties beginning at "The 828", including customers along Boys Camp Road until the Boys Camp Road Bridge.

Note: Firefly Cove residents are NOT affected, as Firefly Cove is served by a separate water system.

•  Please note that the Boil Water Advisory will be in effect until water testing confirms that the water is safe and the advisory can be lifted.
•  Review and follow the guidance below and do NOT consume tap water until the Town announces that the advisory has been lifted.

We apologize for this interruption in service and appreciate your patience and understanding. The Town will provide updates as soon as testing is complete and the Boil Water Advisory can be lifted.
