Boil Water Advisory - Properties on Boys Camp Road - 9/11/25

There was a brief loss of water pressure this afternoon impacting properties on Boys Camp Road. 

  • This loss of water pressure occurred as a result of the new water line that was installed. 
  • No issues are anticipated; however, a Boil Water Advisory is in effect until the Town of Lake Lure is able to confirm that the water is safe to drink. 
  • Please boil all water used for drinking, cooking, and brushing your teeth until the Boil Water Advisory is lifted.
  • Test results are anticipated within the next 24-48 hours.  
  • Updates will be posted as new information becomes available.
