Celebrating a Century! You may have noticed the Lake Lure Centennial banners and flags appearing throughout town. They are helping us get ready for a very special milestone!

On September 30, 2026, the Town of Lake Lure will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the completion of Lake Lure Dam—and this special event will officially kick off a year of celebrations leading into Lake Lure’s Centennial Year in 2027!

We invite residents, businesses, lake lovers and friends of Lake Lure to join in the celebration by displaying a Lake Lure Centennial flag at your home, business or boat.

Let’s fill Lake Lure with Centennial spirit as we celebrate 100 years of our community, our lake and the remarkable place we call home.
