Lake Lure Comprehensive Plan Survey

The Town of Lake Lure has partnered with the Foothills Regional Commission to create a comprehensive long-range planning document that the town will use in decision-making to plan for the future.

If you are a full-time or part-time resident, property owner, employee, or business owner in Lake Lure, the town encourages you to participate in this 10-minute survey to ensure your wishes and concerns are addressed in the Comprehensive Plan. The survey addresses future development, the town appearance, and transportation.

Deadline: The survey will close on December 1st, 2025.

PUBLIC INPUT SESSIONS

In addition to the survey, the public will have opportunities to participate in shaping the Comprehensive Plan through community input sessions and Town Council Meetings. The first two opportunities for public input are noted below.  These sessions are listed on the Town Calendar.

• 11/5/25 from 4-7PM: Comprehensive Planning Public Input Session at The Landings, 920 Buffalo Creek Rd, Lake Lure, NC 28746.
