Special Thanksgiving Message from the Town of Lake Lure

This Thanksgiving, the Town of Lake Lure extends our deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported us throughout our recovery. Thanks to your dedication, compassion, and hard work, we have made tremendous strides—steps that would not have been possible without the countless individuals, partners, and organizations who stood beside us.

We are profoundly thankful for each person who contributed their time, resources, and expertise to help restore and strengthen our community. Your commitment reminds us of what is most important: the spirit of unity, resilience, and care that defines Lake Lure.

As we look to the future, we do so with renewed appreciation for our community and for the natural beauty that surrounds us. We will never take either for granted.
