Temporary Water Disruption - Boil Water Advisory Lifted 5/2/25
Unfortunately, some Lake Lure water customers may be experiencing a temporary disruption to service between Pool Creek Picnic Park area and the Memorial Bridge.

A leak was discovered and the water was temporarily turned off as the leak is being repaired.

Crews are working into the evening to make repairs. They estimate being able to restore service by 9PM this evening.

Impacted areas will need to anticipate a Boil Water Advisory following the restoration of water service this evening.
We apologize for this disruption to water service.

4/30/25 - 7:30 PM Update
The Town of Lake Lure, NC is pleased to confirm that water has been restored throughout Town. If your water was impacted this afternoon, you will be under a Boil Water Advisory until the water is tested and confirmed clear. We anticipate this process taking about 48 hours.
