  Southwestern Catawba County in the Piedmont of North Carolina...

  East central Rutherford County in western North Carolina...

  Western Lincoln County in the Piedmont of North Carolina...

  Western Cleveland County in the Piedmont of North Carolina...

  Southeastern Burke County in western North Carolina...

* Until 500 PM EDT.

 * At 411 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 6 miles west of Shelby, or over Lattimore, moving northeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD: Tornado.

  SOURCE: Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT: Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.  Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...

  Kingstown around 420 PM EDT.

  Lawndale and Polkville around 430 PM EDT.

  Belwood, Casar and Fallston around 440 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this dangerous thunderstorm include Cooksville, Propst, Pleasant Grove and Vale.
