NOTICE OF SPECIAL
TOWN COUNCIL MEETING

Friday, February 27, 2026
 

The Lake Lure Town Council will hold a special meeting on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at The Landings. The Landings is located at 920 Buffalo Creek Road, Lake Lure, NC 28746.

The purpose of this meeting is to address the following items:

  • Consider Termination of the Memorandum of Understanding with William C. Morgan, Jr. and the Attorney-Client Relationship

  • Consider Adoption of Resolution No. 26-02-27 Approving Engagement Agreement with Allen, Stahl, and Kilborne and Appointing Allen, Stahl, and Kilborne as Town Attorney

  • Closed Session in Accordance with G.S. 143-318.11(a) (3) for attorney-client privilege.

This notice is issued on the 25th day of February, 2026 in accordance with the laws and ordinances of the State of North Carolina and the Town of Lake Lure.
