Water Service Interruption & Boil Advisory - Boys Camp Road Area - Monday, 8/17/26

Temporary Water Service Interruption Sign

Residents and customers in the affected area, please be advised that water service will be interrupted on Monday, August 17, 2026, beginning at 8:00 AM and continuing through approximately 5:00 PM. This scheduled service is for main waterline maintenance related to bridge construction.

Affected Area: Properties beginning at The 828, including customers along Boys Camp Road until the Boys Camp Road Bridge.

Note: Firefly Cove residents are NOT affected, as Firefly Cove is served by a separate water system.

  • Please plan ahead for NO WATER SERVICE during the scheduled maintenance period.
  • Once the work is completed, a Boil Water Advisory will be in effect until water testing confirms that the water is safe and the advisory can be lifted.
  • Review and follow the guidance below and do NOT consume tap water until the Town announces that the advisory has been lifted.

We apologize for this interruption in service and appreciate your patience and understanding as this necessary work is completed. The Town will provide updates as soon as testing is complete and the Boil Water Advisory can be lifted.
