Sealed bids for the project entitled “Town of Lake Lure Chimney Rock Connector Road”, will be received by the Town of Lake Lure on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 2:00pm at the Lake Lure Fire Department in Lake Lure, NC and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud.
Construction of 1400 linear feet of 18 foot wide connector road for the Town of Lake Lure The Contract Documents may be examined at Odom Engineering PLLC in Forest City NC.

A certified check or cashier’s check payable to Town of Lake Lure or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by a corporate surety licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute such bonds in the amount equal to five percent of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A Performance and Payment Bond will be required for this project.

The low bidder shall identify the minority business participation it will use on the project as applicable prior to project award. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. The low bidder shall provide a list of all employees (including subcontractors) expected to work on the project and their county
of residence.

The Town of Lake Lure reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any or all bids.
