Hazardous Weather Outlook - Wintery Precipitation

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for our area this week. The following Hazardous Weather Outlook is for western North Carolina. 

DAY ONE...Tonight, 12/4/25: Light snow is likely to develop and then quickly change to freezing rain tonight through Friday, 12/5/25, morning, mainly at higher elevations. Light accumulations of ice and snow could result in hazardous roadways.

Please use caution if traveling overnight or in the early morning.
