Deepest Gratitude

The Town of Lake Lure, NC extends its deepest gratitude to the NC Forest Service, Lake Lure Fire & Rescue, Lake Lure Police Department, Bill’s Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Chimney Rock Volunteer Fire Department, Greenhill Volunteer Fire Department, Shingle Hollow Volunteer Fire Department, and Chimney Rock State Park staff for their outstanding response and coordination in managing the two fires in our community this weekend.

We are incredibly thankful for the positive outcome and do not take it for granted. Thanks to your professionalism, dedication, and the grace of God - no individuals, pets, or homes were harmed.

We also sincerely appreciate the support of our community and all those who lifted us up in prayer during this time.
