With gratitude, I honored those who have served and sacrificed

Today I remembered the ultimate sacrifice of those who gave their lives in service. I take time to solemnly appreciate their dedication and commitment so I can have the freedoms I enjoy.

My remembrance and appreciation extends to those dear to me who have passed on. Through my memories, these special ones are still alive in me. Like a fire that never completely goes out, a glimmer of connection remains. Knowing their souls live on fills my heart with comfort.

I think of how I can use my time on earth to honor those who have served and those whom I have lost. I endeavor to live in a way that honors them, their unique qualities, and the inspiration they have given me to follow their example.
