Please Be Ready for Chilly, Windy Weather Weather

The National Weather Service has issued this Hazardous Weather Outlook for northeast Georgia, Piedmont North Carolina, western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina.

DAY ONE: Today and tonight. Strong gusty winds behind a cold front across the entire area through tonight, with the strongest gusts of 50-65 mph over the highest peaks of the mountains. Wind chills in the teen and single digits outside the mountains with single to sub-zero digits for the mountains.
 

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN: Monday through Saturday. Strong gusty winds continue Monday across the entire area, with the strongest gusts of 45-55 mph over the highest peaks of the mountains. Winds should diminish Monday night. Wind chills in the teens to lower 20s outside the mountains and single digits for the mountains.
