Collegiate Rowing
Rowing in Lake Lure
Collegiate rowing teams love visiting Lake Lure because of the mild temperatures, calm waters with little boat traffic in the winter and early spring and the three mile length of the lake. Local rowers enjoy the lake in the early morning all year-round and from February through early April, collegiate teams come to Lake Lure for their annual training. The following teams have come to Lake Lure for training in the past and we look forward to their return in 2026.
